Coops + The Bird

Fb-Button

Jake Cooper and Bianka Feo form bluesy Adelaide duo Coops + The Bird.

A couple of months ago we spent a long weekend down on Hindmarsh Island, South Australia filming their first music video for ‘Crow’, the second single off their debut EP.

The clip is launching on Thursday September 26th at The Grace Emily in Adelaide, with live performances from the duo and local songstress Emily Davis.

You should go.

A SEARCH FOR SOUNDTRACKS

Fb-Button

she take pictures he makes films my new collaboration with filmmaker Alastair Innes – is a project to provide 6 – 8 minute cinematic keepsakes to my clients,  set to music that reflects the mood of the celebration. The first two can be seen here (you’ll love them…).

We are looking for talented emerging artists who would like have their music be the soundtrack to the films.  It’s an opportunity to have your original songs heard by thousands of viewers online, with your name and the song credit permanently attached to the piece.

If you have a song of any kind – indie/pop/folk/soul/jazz/country/instrumental/atmospheric/postrock – that you think would help Alastair to create more gorgeous films like these, please email me.

Howl at the Moon

Fb-Button

The coastal towns of Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale were the perfect settings for this week’s shoot with sultry rockers Howl at the Moon. Mark Renall, Katie Scott, Matt Storey and Michael Brennan were in need of some new promo shots in the lead up to the launch of their new album, Squalls. I’m thrilled to have had the chance to work with them.

You can catch the Howlers as they launch Squalls on stage at The Northcote Social Club on March 24th. For all other gigs and info, click here.

Huge thanks to John and Danni for their assistance.
