Bec + Matt // Star of Greece Wedding // Port Willunga, South Australia

Fb-Button

A year ago I received an email from Bec – a great friend of mine from high school, with whom I’d lost touch long ago – asking if I could capture her wedding in Port Willunga, South Australia. It turns out Bec turned into a freaking awesome lady, and found herself an equally awesome man to love – the handsome and lovely Matt.

Theirs was the best kind of wedding day – chilled, joyous, stress free and filled with laughs. Even the priest had the entire church in histerics. I felt so honoured to capture it, but more importantly, SO thrilled to reconnect with this beautiful lady.

Bec + Matt – huge congrats. You guys are a seriously excellent couple x

Special thanks to John Possemato for his assistance.

“Lucy and her team are the most professional and talented photographers that I have worked with.  Being in the fashion industry and working with many other photographers we knew what we wanted for our big day.  We wanted natural photos and Lucy followed that to the script!

Her professionalism, dedication and raw talent is astounding! To say we were over the moon with our collection of photos would be an understatement.  Our guests even raved about how good they thought Lucy was – always in the action!

We would highly recommend her! Don’t take our word for it though, her pictures speak a thousand words!” – Rebecca + Matt

Ainslie + Tristan // A quaint vintage Fitzroy wedding

Fb-Button

This was the sweetest wedding I’ve shot to this date. Small, intimate and understated, held at a cosy corner pub in the leafy streets of Fitzroy North… just the kind of day I’ve been hoping would come along (I live in the area, and although the spectacular locations I get to shoot in are always breathtaking, I’ve always looked at my neighbourhood and thought – ‘Why not throw a wedding right here?’).

Ainslie + Tristan’s wedding was a celebration shared with their closest family and friends. Free from spectacle and stressful planning… a stripped back affair with good food and treasured company.

Their ceremony was enjoyed by just their family, and after a portrait session around the historic neighbouring streets, their close friends came along to join in on the fun.

I hope you enjoy their story x

Huge thanks to Sal for the referral, and to Ali for being a star.

“Lucy… Thank you for the the amazing job you did on our wedding photos – we couldn’t be happier! We are so impressed with the style of your images and the way you have managed to tell ‘the story’ of our day. You captured all the special moments perfectly and your professionalism and warm nature put us completely at ease. You have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and we would have no hesitation in recommending you to our family and friends.

Ainslie & Tristan x”
