Sometimes Alastair and I can’t believe how damn lucky we are. We were recently flown to Sweden as She Takes Pictures He Makes Films to spend time with this amazing couple and their families. We were welcomed in like long lost Aussie/Kiwi cousins, and treated to Swedish traditions, songs, food and kindness. We saw incredible sights, ate far too […]

I just wanted to let you know that looking at the beautiful pictures and the film you made for us always makes me smile! And I get even happier when I see the last picture of the four of us – you two are just great!
Lots of love from Sweden
I love the Light and colors captured. Super good!
I think I would fly you to Sweden also if you could capture my day as beautifully as you did theirs . Incredible Hun x
Ridiculously awesome

(and what a way to rock a leather jacket with a wedding dress!♥)
Been hanging for this. Ma-gic guys… total home run. Beautiful.
Boomshakalaka. Brilliant Lucy.
This is just amazing. You capture emotions and beauty so so well (and there seems to be a LOT of both of those in this wedding)
The sweet new issue of Hello May Magazine is out now, packed with a tonne of inspiring content for the non-bridal bride (and non groom-y groom!), including a double page feature on She Takes Pictures He Makes Films (aka Alastair Innes and myself). You should totally grab a copy and frame this part of it.

Hi Oscar, thanks! I do own a tilt shift, but almost never use it, and haven’t yet experimented with the Brenizer Method, but I do shoot a lot of my work wide open at 1.4.
Hey, nice work! very inspiring. Especially like the The Bon Scotts black and white portraits! Just wondering, with some of your photos I can’t tell if you used a Tilt-shift lens, the “Brenizer Method” or just a super wide lens to get the super shallow depth of field? Love to know!
SO COOL!! CONGRATS!!
