I photographed Melbourne swamp rock outfit Jack on Fire last year, and in the wake of their stunning new release EP – Sermons from the Eastern Seaboard – we met up again last weekend to capture their new lineup. Summer in Adelaide. Clear skies, Sunday artist markets and ladies in red. This particular lady is one of my very closest friends, Bianka Feo. She fronts the bluesy Adelaide duo Coops + The Bird (along with guitar virtuoso Jake Cooper). You can can catch them playing their soulful tunes around Adelaide this festival season.

Today I had the huge pleasure of meeting and photographing the man himself, Alice Cooper. He’s in town for his ‘No More Mr Nice Guy’ world tour, and PBS FM sent Metal Genisis announcer Wendy and me along to his hotel to have a quick chat.
He was as charming, articulate and engaging as his reputation suggests, and such a fantastic subject to shoot. I somehow managed to refrain from dropping to the floor and chanting “We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy!”. Wendy did an excellent interview, soon to be broadcast on PBS FM. Keep an ear out.

Thanks Sarah, I shoot on a Nikon D700 with a variety of lenses. That first image (or two images put together) was taken with a Nikkor 24-70mm.
